FINDLAY- Corey Olaniyan, a recent 2004 Norwalk High School graduate and standout football player, is looking to do the same at the next level. Olaniyan will start and contribute in several aspects for Division II Findlay as a true freshman. Wearing #8 and listed as a defensive back on the Oilers roster, Olaniyan will start on kickoff, punt return, and rotate in throughout the game at defensive back and kick return when Findlay hosts Tiffin University this Saturday night at 7pm. But it all didn't come as easy as it all sounds according to the freshman. "It was pretty tough at first," he said. "Everything was thrown at me at once, and it was tough getting used to the practice times and conditions. But now that we are close to the season, things seem to have slowed down more to my pace, which is good. Now I'm just looking to contribute and make an impact of some kind to help the team win." Olaniyan finished Norwalk as one
of the most decorated players of all-time, leaving as the school's record
holder for career catches, yards, receptions in a season, interceptions in a
single game, and longest touchdown in a single game.
